Welcome to Aethel: The First Letter

Today we put a name to the world we are setting out to build. Aethel Online is a persistent fantasy MMORPG in the spirit of the golden age — thirteen skills, one handcrafted continent, an economy that belongs to the players, and progression that is never sold. Development begins now, with Phase 1 of the roadmap below. This letter covers the creed we pinned above our desks, what we are building first, and how you can follow along.
