Use your Aethel game account, the same one you use in the launcher.

Good to Know

Payments are handled by Stripe. Your card details never reach Aethel's servers.
To buy, the email on your account must be verified. It's also how you get back in if you forget your password.
Membership shows in game within about a minute of payment. No need to log out.
Subscriptions renew automatically. Change plan, update your card, or cancel any time from Manage Membership.
Days stack: anything you already have, from a Bond or an earlier plan, is kept and added to.
If membership ends, you keep everything. Members content just stays locked until you renew.

Free to Play

Oakheart Vale and everything in it: the village, the keep, Copper Hollow Cave, and the vale's eleven outlying regions.
17 skills, every one trainable to level 99.
50 quests, from First Steps to the Barrow King.
Bronze and iron gear, plus gold and sapphire jewellery.
Banking, player trading, and the Oakheart Exchange.

★ Members

Everything free players have, plus:
Emberwood Forest and Cinderdeep Hollow.
5 more skills: Agility, Fletching, Hunter, Thieving, and Husbandry (mounts, pack mules and hounds).
150 more quests (200 in total).
Steel, mithril, adamant, and rune gear, plus emerald and ruby jewellery, higher-tier fish, potions, and ranged armour.
Two more bosses: the Cinder Matriarch and the Greyscar Behemoth.

What Money Never Buys

No XP, levels, or skill boosts.
No better drop rates or faster gathering.
No stat boosts, and no items with stats sold for money.
Members gear still has to be gathered, made, or earned in play.

Aethel Bonds

A Bond is an in-game item worth 14 days of membership.
Buy one with gold on the Oakheart Exchange and redeem it from your satchel. Free players can redeem Bonds too.
Bond days stack with paid membership.

If Membership Ends

You keep everything: items, levels, XP, your bank, and your Exchange offers.
Members areas, skills, quests, and items stay locked until you renew.
Logging in inside a members area moves you to Oakheart Vale, and worn members gear goes to your bank.

Before You Buy

Can I buy membership in the launcher instead?

Yes. The Membership button in the Aethel Launcher offers the same plans through the same checkout. Use whichever is easier.

How do I cancel?

Sign in above and choose Manage Membership. Stripe's billing page lets you cancel, change plan, or update your card. A cancelled subscription stays active until the end of the period you paid for.

I already subscribe. Can I add more days?

You can have one subscription at a time; change it from Manage Membership. The one-off 30 days can be bought at any time and adds to whatever you already have.

I paid, but I'm not a member yet.

It usually takes a few seconds, occasionally a minute or two. Press Refresh above, and the game picks it up within a minute without logging out. If it still hasn't arrived after ten minutes, contact us with your username.
